iMedEdu – Online Courses

This six month online postgraduate training course is designed to train dentists to deliver high quality periodontal patient care. The programme has been designed to provide general dental practitioners with in depth knowledge of the principles of assessing and managing patients with periodontal and peri-implant diseases, surgical and non-surgical treatment techniques, dental implant and regenerative treatment protocols and the ability to plan for multidisciplinary care. Following successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Periodontology (PG Dip).

The course is offered in collaboration with University of Chester, UK.

Curriculum:

Our online  Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics programs allows you to study for just six month and is a part-time, distance-learning course. The course is worth 120 credits and comprises six modules of 20 credits, each running over a period of three weeks.

Module 1: The Normal Periodontium

Module 2: Classification and Epidemiology of Periodontal Disease

Module 3: Periodontal Pathology

Module 4: Principles of Diagnosis and Assessment

Module 5: Diagnosis of Periodontal Diseases

Module 6: Non-surgical Periodontal Treatment

Module 7: Surgical Periodontal Treatment

Module 8: Drugs Used in Periodontal Therapy
