This six month online postgraduate training course is designed to train dentists to deliver high quality periodontal patient care. The programme has been designed to provide general dental practitioners with in depth knowledge of the principles of assessing and managing patients with periodontal and peri-implant diseases, surgical and non-surgical treatment techniques, dental implant and regenerative treatment protocols and the ability to plan for multidisciplinary care. Following successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Periodontology (PG Dip).
